Deep Creek Lake Sunsets on Wisp Mountain

 

 

 

So…you’ve been out boating, fishing, paddleboarding, canoeing, tubing, wakeboarding, hiking, swimming, zip lining, riding the mountain coaster, experiencing the white water course, and visited the 7 State Parks we have here in the area. The vacation here at Deep Creek Lake has been perfect but you are looking to relax and enjoy something special. Take some time as the evening creeps closer and the sun starts to fade over the cool sky and head up to the top of Wisp Mountain near the white water course at ASCI and experience a Deep Creek Lake sunset. Up on the ski slope there is a little pond that commands a massive view of the mountain ranges and surrounding areas. It also is one of the premium spots to watch the sunset in the summer time. Bring the family and a picnic basket of goodies and drinks and put behind all your cares while enjoying a quite amazing experience that you can only find here in Garrett County. Here are a few photos I took last night. The wind was calm and the sky was blooming in a spectacular way.
