It was a beautiful weekend at the lake, as can be seen from the sailing photo below that was taken by my husband Bob during a sailboat race he participated in on Saturday.
The temperatures were in the high 70’s and there was just enough wind to make for a fun day on the water and a good competition. Bob highly recommends DCL Sailing School if you have the bug for this intriguing sport.

Jensen, at 13 months, enjoyed his first time in the waters of Deep Creek Lake. He didn’t hesitate in taking the plunge! Dive on in; the water is refreshing yet satisfying!

We are not short on activities and events this time of year. Get out and have some fun with the family while you’re in town! We were able to make it out to a Stage Wisp performance recently; I forgot how nice it was to plop on the grass (or lawn chair) and listen to great tunes while enjoying the beauty of our mountainous landscape in the background.
