Deep Creek events for summer promise fun for the entire family! There are tons of things to see and do throughout July. I put together some “must-dos” if you are in the Deep Creek Lake area. Many of these events are FREE as well, so they are easy on your wallet!

Free Summer Concerts at Wisp Resort
Wednesdays, July 3-August 28, 6:30PM
Wisp brings some great local and regional acts to their outdoor stage for FREE summer concerts. Food and drinks are available for purchase, plus they have added vendors selling farm fresh veggies and art.
Pocket Park Movies
Thursdays, June 13-August 15, Starts at Dusk
Head to the Mountain Fresh Farmers Market Pavilion in Oakland’s historic downtown for FREE movies. Bring chairs and a blanket for this fun, family event.
Little Yough Summer Music Festival
Fridays, July 12-August 30
This is another FREE event held at the Market Fresh Farmers Market Pavilion in Oakland. Great musical acts provide entertainment in the open air.
Deep Creek Lions Club Boat Parade
Saturday, July 6, 7 PM
Decorate your boat to enter in the parade, or hang out at one of the voting stations to pick your favorite! The money raised will help the Lions Club throughout with projects throughout the year.
Art In the Park
July 13 & 14, 10AM
Deep Creek Lake State Park hosts 50+ artists selling original work at this two day festival. Park naturalists are also on hand with activities for kids and live critters from the Discovery Center.
Garrett County Agriculture Fair
July 27-August 3
This is a favorite Deep Creek event for locals and vacationers alike! Rides, games, yummy food, farm animals, a demolition derby and live entertainment offer something for all ages.
