Deep Creek Lake Wedding License
This is an important detail. You apply in person at the Garrett County Courthouse. It is open from 8:30am-3:45pm, Monday-Friday (except holidays). The fee is $40.

You must be at least 25 years of age, only 1 person needs to apply. Bring the following info: Name, Address, Date of Birth and Social Security number.
If either party is divorced, you present the Divorce Decree. You may use the marriage license 2 days after it is issued and it is good for 6 months.

Other Venue Options
In addition to the event barns, there are other options to consider. Wisp Resort is a more traditional venue offering a large wedding tent along with mountaintop ceremonies. Swallow Falls State Park is especially popular with couples who want stunning waterfalls as their backdrop.
