We’re still catching leaves here at the lake while waiting for our first snow. Not that I’m rushing it along, but once it turns cold it might as well turn white, too! Now is a fine time to bust out the skis or snowboard and have them waxed and tuned for the 2015/16 season.
Wisp will open just as soon as conditions permit. As I was driving by today, I noticed them tweaking the snow making equipment; now we’re just waiting for optimal temperatures to crank them on. There’s always an excitement for locals the first night the trail lights and snow guns are going strong. Oh, and if you’re looking for someone else to prepare your family’s Thanksgiving meal so everyone can spend their time enjoying one another rather than spending all day in the kitchen, give Wisp a call and they will do it for you!
I’ve been looking at some sales statistics lately and thought I would share. These are coming straight from our MLS (MRIS). Our average sales price in the DCL area for 2015 YTD is $446,252 and the average days on the market is 183 days. The attachment provides greater detail on these 147 residential sales in the lake area from 2015. You will see on page 5 that the average list to sale price ratio is 93.09%, up from 92%.
